Andrew Osborne's pathway is a strong Kildare club-and-school story. Like his older brother Jamie, he started rugby with Naas RFC minis, attended Naas CBS and came through the North Midlands area pathway before moving into Ireland U20, Emerging Ireland and Leinster.

His Ireland U20 involvement gave him an early national platform. Osborne was part of the 2022 Ireland U20 Grand Slam group and scored on his underage debut against Scotland at Scotstoun, one of the cleaner early markers in his representative pathway.

The senior Leinster breakthrough arrived with a family edge. Osborne made his Leinster debut against Zebre in 2024, starting in the same back three as Jamie and scoring a try in a 31-7 win.
