Thomas Clarkson's pathway begins with Wicklow RFC and Blackrock College, before moving through Trinity, Dublin University FC, Leinster and Ireland U20. His Blackrock College stage is especially important: he was part of the 2018 Leinster Schools Senior Cup-winning side, giving him a major schools rugby marker before he moved into the professional pathway.
